DESCRIPTION:Join Slate Valley Trails for our Monday night group trail runs!  \nTime: 5:30 – 7:30 PM. The group will leave the trailhead by 5:35 at the latest. \nLocation: Fairgrounds Trailhead  \nSpecial Run Edition (June 8)- We’re MAKING BUTTER!  \n\nWe’re trying something a little different (and a little ridiculous) – trail running powered butter making.\nThe plan is simple: bring 1 cup heavy whipping cream and a pinch of salt in heavy-duty ziplock bags (double bag it!)\, tuck them into our running vests\, and let the trails do the churning. \nWe’ll hang after to “enjoy” the butter – wine and bread will be provided. \nHope to see you there for what may be either a great success or a hilarious failure.\n\nDistance: The route will vary weekly and may have two route options depending on the number of people. Expect a social pace (3-7 miles) with some elevation gain. DESCRIPTION:Join Slate Valley Trails for our Monday night group trail runs starting in June! \nTime: 6 – 8 PM. The group will leave the trailhead by 6:05 at the latest. \nLocation: Fairgrounds Trailhead \nDistance: The route will vary weekly and may have two route options depending on the number of people. Expect at least a 5 mile run at a social pace with some elevation gain for a standard run. With two groups we will have options for up to 12 miles for one of the routes. There are many options to cater to all abilities and shorten the route for anyone wanting to run a shorter distance. \nBring: plenty of water\, snacks\, bug spray\, and an after run beverage of choice.Extreme weather and downpours will cancel!
