Stewardship of trails really does take a lot of effort and volunteerism! We know you've been out there enjoying the trails, but can you you spare some time to give back? A little help can go a long way!

Currently, SVT relies on a combination of volunteer Trail Stewards, a handful of organized trail work days, and our professional maintenance crew.  It's a big job to maintain over 60 miles of trail. We owe it to our dedicated core volunteers and SVT maintenance crew for keeping our trails in great shape!
How You Can Help

There are many ways you can get involved!

  • Join us at a trail work day
  • Lead or co-lead an outing
  • Join a committee (Trails, Events, Marketing, Promotions & Fundraising)
  • Help plan or volunteer at an event
  • Become a volunteer trail steward or join the trail crew
  • Become a trail work crew leader
  • Organize a corporate trail work day for you and your co-workers
  • Donate an in-kind item or service to our organization
